BIOGRAPHY

Evangelist Uwe P. Glur

Born on September 11, 1970, in the picturesque city of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, Evangelist Uwe P. Glur came into the world as a twin in a family of five children. Raised in a Christian household, his early years were enriched by the faith of his parents and grandparents. Table prayers, evening devotions, and Bible readings as a schoolchild laid the foundation of his spiritual journey.

In his teenage years, Uwe actively participated in a Christian youth group and was confirmed in the Protestant Church at the age of 15. Yet, despite these outward expressions of faith, he lacked a true, personal conversion to Jesus Christ. His faith was fragile, unanchored by the transformative power of heartfelt belief.

In 1985, a life-altering moment occurred when Uwe suffered a severe cycling accident, leading to a near-death experience. It was during this profound encounter that he met the living Creator God in Jesus Christ. Enveloped by a radiant, all-encompassing light, Uwe experienced the reality of heaven. Before being sent back to earthly life with a divine mission, he received an unmistakable gesture—a calling to fulfill the purpose God had entrusted to him since birth. This encounter etched itself deeply in his heart, sparking a search for truth that led him through various faith traditions.

In 1999, Uwe met his future wife, whom he married on November 10, 2012, dedicating their union to God. However, his life took a dark turn in 2006, as emotional struggles brought him to the brink of despair. It was during this time that a pastor from Cameroon shared the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. The words touched Uwe’s soul, leading him to surrender his life to Christ. He was baptized in Nigeria, where he began his service to God by translating sermons and Bible texts, eventually stepping into the ministry of evangelism.

In 2012, Uwe was anointed as an evangelist, and his passion for spreading the Gospel became a daily mission. His ministry expanded to include preaching in church services, teaching Sunday school, and reaching out to the lost. In 2019, God opened new doors for him to minister in Pakistan and Africa, sharing the transformative power of Jesus Christ with people in need.

In September and October 2024, Uwe traveled to Pakistan, where he witnessed the Lord’s mighty hand at work. Through his ministry, lives were blessed, faith was strengthened, and souls were saved for the glory of God.

Evangelist Uwe P. Glur’s journey is a testament to the grace of God, the power of redemption, and the unwavering call to serve Christ. His life exemplifies the fulfillment of a divine purpose, bringing hope and salvation to countless lives across the world.
